Celebrating Leadership in Golf Course Talent Development

We are excited to announce the Race to Talent™ event, taking place during the Michigan Golf Business Conference on December 4, 2024, from 8:30am-9:30am at the Somerset Inn in Troy. This event is a special opportunity for current and potential Registered Apprenticeship Employers to celebrate their contributions to talent development in the golf industry.

At Race to Talent™, you'll have the chance to recognize your golf course, apprentices, and agronomy teams for their crucial role in elevating industry standards and sustaining growth. This event will feature key officials from:

  • U.S. Department of Labor's Office of Apprenticeship
  • Michigan Department of Labor and Economic Opportunity (LEO) Office of Apprenticeship
  • Southeast Michigan Works

Earlier this year, the Michigan Golf Course Association (MGCA) was awarded a State Apprenticeship Expansion 2023 Grant from the Michigan Department of LEO. During the event, MGCA will provide insights on what this exciting development could mean for your golf course and how it can benefit your workforce.

Why Attend? This is your chance to showcase your course's leadership in developing talent, inspire other courses, and learn valuable insights into workforce development strategies. Don't miss the opportunity to position your golf course as a leader in fostering the next generation of talent in the golf industry.

RSVP by October 25, 2024, to secure your spot.

We look forward to seeing you at Race to Talent™
