On April 24, 2024, the Department of Labor (DOL) finalized a significant regulation titled "Defining and Delimiting the Exemptions for Executive, Administrative, Professional, Outside Sales, and Computer Employees."
The new rule takes effect on July 1, 2024 and addresses exemptions from the Fair Labor Standard Act minimum wage and overtime regulations, covering both standard level employees and highly compensated employees.
